I found your website is being optimized by another plugin, I think this could be the main reason why my plugin is not working properly.
You can try again by only enabling one of the optimization plugins at a time (for example, when using defer.js, turn off other plugins like WP Rocket) to compare the effectiveness of the plugins. If the problem really only occurs when you enabled my defer.js plugins, I would consider a newer update once I find the exact cause of the error.

Hi,
It occurs even if I only activte your plugin and inactivte all other optimizations. Before when you did test, your plugin was inactivated sorry for that. Now only your optimization is activated, and you do see the issue if you visit our site in “private window”. I tryed in my mobile.

I have checked the registration popup source code on your website (mobile version). Unfortunately, the plugin was disabled when I checked your website, so I could only analyze the source code with WP Rocket enabled. This may affect the accuracy of the information I have obtained from your website.
The registration popup on your website is loaded by a 3rd party Javascript (at chimpstatic[dot]com), and my plugin does not interfere with its processing. If so, the impact could be from my plugin moving script tags to the bottom of your site.
You can try adding data-ignore="1" attribute to the script tag of chimpstatic[dot]com and check if this plugin affects that script.
