Hello @mcostadada,
Thank you for reaching out with details regarding the issue you’re experiencing. Based on your description and the provided screenshot, it seems that the use of an email with the web.de domain triggers a 406 Not Acceptable error. This error is often related to server-side configurations, particularly when certain request headers are not accepted.
Let’s explore a few steps to address this:
- Check Server Configuration: The issue might be linked to your server’s configuration, especially concerning security modules like mod_security. These can sometimes incorrectly flag legitimate requests. Consulting with your hosting provider or a server administrator to review any specific rules affecting
web.de emails could be insightful.
- Review Error Logs: Additional error logs from your server at the time of this issue would be very helpful. These logs can provide deeper insights into what is causing the 406 error.
- Update Plugin and WooCommerce: Please make sure that both WooCommerce and the Mailchimp for WooCommerce plugin are up to date.
- Testing with Different Emails: As a temporary workaround, try using different email domains to see if the problem is isolated to
web.de. This can help determine if the issue is specific to this domain or if it’s a broader problem.
Please let us know if any of the above actions resolve the issue.
Hi there, we just wanted to check back with you to see if this was still a problem for you. Please let us know when you get a moment, we’ll be happy to help troubleshoot further if necessary.
Good morning
It was not worth our while to solve the problem, so at the moment we have not addressed it. But we have everything updated, so it could be a server thing.
Thanks for your time
