Hi, until yesterday everything worked fine but today by getting to my Dashboard I retrieve the message for MonsterInsights:

    Error
The firewall of your server is blocking outbound calls. Please contact your hosting provider to fix this issue. cURL error 35: Unknown SSL protocol error in connection to http://www.google.com:443

Before I ask my Provider like recommended I need some more infos, why suddenly this should be and what the exact call it is which is getting blocked. Thx!

In prior versions we used a check to the http version of http://www.google.com/blank.html to check the ability of the site to do outbound calls to connect to Google’s APIs. With the latest release we now try that same check on https://www.google.com/blank.html.

Apparently your hosting provider hasn’t kept their curl library up to date (and by that I mean they must have you on a version that’s dramatically out of date) given Google’s site is compatible with most versions of curl issued in the last few years.

This is not something you can fix it’s something your hosting provider must fix. You should give them the error provided and they can go from there.
