    Good morning,

I have written to the server and I am also sending it to you just in case since I am completely lost.

I indicate what I have tried but after all these tests the website crashes and shows HTTP ERROR 500, so I have to make a restoration copy again for everything to work.

I have tried going into the WP Super Cache settings and checking the box: “Caching disabled”. And nothing, nothing happens.

I tried again to disable WP Super Cache and the page crashed again.

After searching the forums I installed the w3 total cache plugin and it gave me no problems. Later I went to deactivate WP Super Cache, which seems or I understand that that is where the problem lies, and the page crashed again, so I restored a backup copy so that the website works and the w3 plugin is no longer there. total cache.

I don’t know if removing this plugin from FTP would solve the problem in WP Super Cache or if it would make it worse. I did not want to try this without telling you everything I have done.

And when the page falls, as I say, it always indicates HTTP ERROR 500

Please can you tell me which plugin or plugins you disable?

    Thank you!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there, @mf1995,

I’m sorry to hear about the trouble, but thanks for reaching out – That is uncommon issue and unwanted behaviour. If I get everything correctly, every time you try to act on the WP Super Cache plugin, it leads to crashing your site with an HTTP error 500.

Do you have PHP error logs to share related to this issue? We’d like to have our developers look at these, so to understand what’s causing this problem, and find a solution for it. Your host can help you get them.

Most likely, deleting the plugin via FTP would solve this, however let’s pause on this, if possible, until we take a look at the error logs.

You can share the logs via via this contact form. Please also mention this thread, so we can connect the dots.

Look forward to your reply, and thanks in advance for your cooperation in sorting that out with us!
