Formiator Error: Your form is not valid, please fix the errors!

    Hello,
    I’m having issues when submitting the form. I used Forminator to build it.
    When I fill out the form with all the necessary information and then I click the submit button it reloads the page to the first section and it tells me that “This field is required. Please enter text.” All the completed information is gone and it won’t submit. Please help!

    Hello @wavede !

    I’m very sorry to hear that you’ve experienced an error while using Forminator!

    I checked the form and from my end I was able to submit it successfully. Maybe the issue only occurs in some specific scenario when some data is entered or some specific options are selected? If so, can you share the details of what to fill in the form?

    Also, if you could provide an export of the form – that would help us investigate the issue further.

    After exporting, please share the code using a service such as https://pastebin.com (free)

    Thank you, I noticed that the email field was giving me issues and I replaced it with a new one. It seems to work now.
    But I will send the code for you to take a look.

    Also when I am submitting the form id doesn’t send any email confirmation to admin nor to the client’s email. I can only access the information because it stores it in the forminator’s database. I used the hubspot integration to somehow let me know when the client is submitting the form to manually send email notifications but this action is delayed.

    This applies to all the forms I created.

    Hi @wavede

    Thank you for response and sharing the form.

    I checked the form on my test setup but I must say I still couldn’t replicate the issue. It works fine for me (I replaced e-mail addresses – addresses, not fields – not to spam you) no matter what.

    One thing I can think of would be that form was created with one of previous/older versions of Forminator and something went unexpectedly wrong during plugin update and the fact that simply removing and re-adding the field worked – it could confirm that.

    I’d say – for now, since it works for you, we can assume it’s fine but keep an eye on it and if you notice issue coming back (or happening with other forms), please update us right away .

    As for e-mails, would you try setting your site to use SMPT to send e-mails? You can do this using free plugins such as e.g. WP Mail SMTP, Easy SMTP or our own Branda.

    Give it a try, please, and let us know if it helps or if the issue with mails still happens.
