• Hi there,

I was trying to change footer on my website yesterday and since then Ive got problems with using my theme. I deleted all files of the theme in my cpanel and after that again I uploaded the theme but still the trouble is not resolved. When I try to open the site or the wp dashboard I receive the error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function sgwindow_get_defaults() in /home/lukamari/public_html/wp-content/themes/dream-way/functions.php on line 20

When I delete files of the theme I can access the dashboard and use any theme I want but this. Is it a problem with theme/wordpress code? Any idea how to solve it?

    Would appreciate your help.

  • Sounds like a database problem.

Go into cpanel/mysql and repair a database, the text is there for just that. If you are nervous around databases (I know I am and never touch them) Then fill in a support ticket at your host.

It may be the theme or plugins thats at fault. If you bought the theme then ask the creater to help with the theme.

    Thanks, Julienne.

After repairing databases the problem still exists. I tried to deactivate plugins, deleted the theme and upload it again in wp, but nothing helps. Yeah, I’ll ask the author.

Did you make the changes in footer.php file or through the WordPress dashboard?
