Hi team, right after the update i got a message telling me there were “488 charaters generated during update”.. i thought nothing of this. But after editing my existing button things went wrong.

The entire Maxbuttons page loses its CSS markup and displays two errors on the top:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/lam/domains/domain.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/maxbuttons/classes/maxCSSParser.php on line 437

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/lam/domains/domain.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/maxbuttons/classes/maxCSSParser.php:437) in /home/lam/domains/domain.nl/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1178

    What to do? Thank you

I’ve not seen that before. I guess with ‘Maxbuttons page’ you mean the Buttons overview page when you click the plugin right?

This is the only error you get or you get more of these when visiting that page?

You can try to go to settings and then click the button ‘reset cache’ and see if that solves it.

Ty for the swift response. Unfortunatly the reset cache did not help.

    See image here.

It is the page i get when I press ‘edit’ button.
    MaxButtons: Add/Edit Button

The URL i get after saving is:

    http://www.domain.nl/wp-admin/admin.php?page=maxbuttons-controller&action=button&noheader=true

Thanks for the image. Could you verify if that happens when you create a new button as well?

Everything seems to be working fine, usually after saving the page redirect and reloads, that doesn’t work because of this error.

I suspect it’s some special character being used somewhere that might throw it off.

When i create a new button all goes well.

Even why i edit an existing button the changes seem to take effect as they can be see on the front end. But the editting page does still break.

Even after removing the raquo like so:

    Proefles aanvragen »

    to

    Proefles aanvragen

It made no difference. There are no other special characters used im afraid.

Is it possible for you to make an export of the database table ( wp_maxbuttonsv3 ) in SQL and send it to support [at] maxfoundry . com ? I can debug it then.

For the moment being, as it’s probably quite annoying this error you can disable WP_DEBUG in wp-config.php.
