Hello,

I am currently using the Pinterest Plugin for WooCommerce and ever since I updated to the latest version I am receiving the following errors and warnings in Diagnostics of my Product Catalog on Pinterest :

Error 1300
Unable to retrieve the image
Contact your image hosting service provider. Their server encountered an error while processing the request to download your image_link value.
47 Count

Warning 1306
Some additional images could not be downloaded because requests to the image host’s server are rate-limited. HTTP status code response: 429.
Contact your image hosting service provider. Their server encountered an error while processing the request to download your additional_image_link values.
6 Count

Error 1202
Some images could not be downloaded because they were not found. HTTP status code: 404.
Please validate your image_link values. If the URL is correct, try accessing the image directly through a web browser.
5 Count

Warning 1011
We were unable to ingest some additional images in your feed
Please wait 24 hours for the next ingestion. If the problem persists, please contact support.
1 Count

I have reached out to Pinterest and they confirmed that it is not an issue on their side, but an issue with your plugin. How do I correct this? I am a verified merchant on Pinterest and I do not want feed issues messing up my catalog on Pinterest and possibly jeopardizing my Verified Merchant status.

I have verified that the images involved do reside on my website in the folders indicated in the error message.

Thank you for contacting Woo support.

Are you using any CDN or third-party image hosting services?
These factors can sometimes cause issues with image retrieval.

I have verified that the images involved do reside on my website in the folders indicated in the error message.

Could share the message where the address or folders of the images are mentioned?
Once I have more information, I can assist you further in troubleshooting the problem.

Hi,

I am just using WordPress and Woocommerce. The images are hosted on my server. I’m not using any third party.

In my Pinterest Diagnostics tab for Ingestion Issues, for Error 1300 it says:

What to do: Contact your image hosting service provider. Their server encountered an error while processing the request to download your image_link value.

Ok, I have an update. Looks like it was an issue with my .htaccess file. I corrected it and my image 404’s are gone. Pinterest should be able to access al the image file links now from my product feed, so I think the problem is solved. I’ll know tomorrow when Pinterest ingests the feed again.

If any problems persist, I’ll post back here for a follow up. Thanks.

Hello,

Unfortunately, the issue is not resolved. Now Pinterest is saying they can’t download my feed. This is the error message in my Catalog Diagnostics :

Pinterest couldn’t download your product data source

What to do: Check your data source URL and password to try again. If the issue persists, contact us

I haven’t changed anything since I fixed the .htaccess file. Do you have any idea what could cause this?

Thank you for the update. I’m sorry to hear there are still issues with your feed. I understand you’re getting error 100 now. Have you tried the troubleshooting provided by them? Pleasee try reconnecting your Pinterest account, if the issue persists, reach out to their support?

Please first disconnect, then connect your account. Let us know if that helps, or if the Pinterest support suggest any other troubleshooting steps we can help you with.

We have solved error 1300 by whitelisting the IP addresses of the Pinterest bot in cPGuard. The error is now gone.
