Errors caused by upgrading to Version 1.7.9

Hi, I love this plugin but the latest update to 1.7.9 has broken two big things:

1. Videos no longer run on my site. You just see the thumbnail, and when clicked, it runs externally (but only if you have the ‘Add YouTube-link’ radio button selected. If you don’t, nothing happens)
2. The thumbnail looks ugly, with two play icons being displayed and overlapping text. See how it looks, then and now, here:

All the above was working fine before the update and I was very happy with it.

BTW, I’m using the YouTube embed widget block in Gutenberg to embed YouTube videos into my posts and pages.
