Errors for VCS and Not activating

    Hi,
    My client asked us to add this to their site but when I added to plugin to their repository I was getting errors about a path inside a vendor folder.
    Looking into the vendor folder I saw a .git file with a path. Deleting that filed fixed the issue but I am not sure if I can delete it.

    Using the terminal, I was able to commit and push the plugin to their server. However, the plugin won’t activate. I am assuming it is due to the same issue. There are no error messages. It simply reloads the page and the plugin is still deactivated.

    Can you help?
