ERRORS: Notice: Undefined

    I’ve installed the latest version of the plugin.
    I’m on the latest version of WordPress.
    I’ve setup the plugin, created a board, etc…

    I got to the page and get all of these errors. You can see them here:

    Hi @jasonfnorth,

    I suspect that in the plugin settings in the board settings you may not have selected a form setting. So in the board settings look for the field called “FIELD SETTING” and make sure something is selected there.

    If the issue persists, can you please send me the following:

    1. A screenshot of your board settings
    2. A screenshot of the settings in the “Idea Form” tab in the plugin settings
    3. Diagnostic information asked for at the bottom of the support tab
    4. Confirm whether you are using the free or pro version

    Ok, we are using FREE to try it out, but will pay, if we can get it working.

    Hi @jasonfnorth,

    I have just released an update to the plugin which should resolve the error messages you are seeing – although I can’t repeat the errors on my end, so it is possible that new errors may occur downstream.

    BUT if this occurs there is a very simple fix, if you go to the “Idea Form” tab and then click save settings whilst on this tab it should fix it. This is a little quirk of the free version, whereas the pro version the UI makes a bit more sense.

    @jasonfnorth did you do what I said “BUT if this occurs there is a very simple fix, if you go to the “Idea Form” tab and then click save settings whilst on this tab it should fix it.”

    Also I couldn’t actually see any errors on the page link you shared. Thanks,

    Ok, so YES.. I click “save settings” on Idea Form… and those two errors posted above are still present… but only visible to authenticated users (any role)… and since it requires users to be authenticated to log an IDEA… it’s important we get rid of those two errors.

    Thoughts?

    Hi @jasonfnorth,

    Did you update the plugin which specifically removes these 2 errors? You can always turn off PHP errors: https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Debugging_in_WordPress in the mean time.

    All these errors should actually have zero functional ramifications. Thanks,

    OH, my bad… I didn’t realize you offered another update… I just upgraded and it removed these silly error messages. Thanks! Now we’ll play with the app and report back… thanks again! Great speedy support!!
