Errors on Activation

Hello, and Happy New Year!
I have Pixabay Images installed and it works great, but the Pixabay Images Gallery plugin, upon activation, produces the following messages at the top of the page:
“Notice: wp_enqueue_script was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts, or login_enqueue_scripts hooks. Notice: Use of undefined constant script_loader_tag_handle – assumed ‘script_loader_tag_handle’ in …\wp-content\plugins\pixabay-images-gallery\pixabay-images-gallery.php on line 27″
And below the “Plugins ‘Add New'” title/button, there’s the normal message area with the following text: “The plugin generated 251 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.”
My site is running WP4.4 with a responsive theme…specifically, the theme is ‘raindrops’.
