Hello, I switched to use this plugin about a month ago (using version 1.7 currently), and slowly but surely changed over a few hundred products from an old add-ons plugin to this one. It seems to be working fine and I like that it can do everything I need it to.

I’ve been running into an issue that I can’t figure out why it’s happening. Sometimes when changing a product from a simple product to a variable product, I’m getting some glitches when generating the variations. I never noticed this before, and it started at about the same time this plugin was being used. I thought perhaps it was the old outdated plugin that was causing it, but the error still happens occasionally even though that plugin was removed from the site now. It seems to have a database connection issue and sends the database into a spin, and I’ve had to restart it occasionally to get it to go back to running normally.

Just to clarify, I had a lot of products using add-ons, and I switched most of them to being variable products. I worked on one page yesterday and had this database error occur. I removed the add-ons and changed it to variations instead, and when generating the variations, it had the error.

Has anyone else reported an issue with WC 10.6.2, variable products, and your plugin?

    Hi @exitoffroad

We haven’t encountered this behavior before. Next time it happens, can you take a screenshot of the exact error?

How are you creating your options for those products? Are you using the menu WooCommerce > Product fields, or are you adding the options via each “Edit product” screen?

Hello again. I haven’t seen this issue come up since then, so it must have been just a random thing. I’ll close this topic now.

I was creating options on each edit product screen at the time.
