    Hello!

Hosting support reached out to me and told me that there are a lot of errors in the error_log from cPanel -> public_html -> error_log. Most of them are caused by Yoast SEO.

There are over 700 lines in there from only today, so I will just upload the file online: https://file.io/Yt3QH5dCw6eA

There are 2 plugins in there that cause problems: WP Wordcount and Yoast.

Can you take a look and tell me how can I fix the errors?

    Thanks

  • Hey @cesaicumpar,

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know you are having issues. Sorry to hear it.

I’m not able to open the file you linked, can you upload it again or share a few lines from the error logs here?

    Hi @cesaicumpar

Based on the few lines, it looks to be related to the indexables data.

We have seen unexpected issues where the previously optimized data is invalid or incomplete. We’ll start with a reset of the optimization to ensure we’ve removed any invalid data. Let’s cover a few important things to be aware of beforehand.

We recommend creating regular backups of your site and database for your site’s health and safety. Backups are especially important before making substantial changes to your website. It provides you with a safety net if something were to go wrong.

    1. Install & activate the Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
    3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations’, ‘Reset Prominent words calculation’, and ‘Reset Internal link counter’ buttons. After each click, the page will reload to confirm that the specific reset was successful.
    4. Go to WP admin dashboard > Yoast SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your content.

After completing the process, could you check and monitor if you still receive any PHP errors or warnings that are similar to what you’re experiencing right now? Please make sure you’re also on the latest version of Yoast SEO for WordPress.
