I just tried twice to update my Brasserie Theme and received the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function _fs_text() in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas07_data02/95/2836495/html/wp-content/themes/brasserie/freemius/includes/i18n.php on line 35

I had to restore both times as I couldn’t access the WP admin page. Can this be fixed or should I refrain from updating this theme ever again? Thanks for your help.

  • Hi @mgc, my name is Vova Feldman and I’m a co-founder and lead developer of Freemius. The error you are having related to our SDK – I apologize for the inconvenience.

I installed the theme locally and tried to reproduce your error but no success. I presume it’s related to your specific environment (wp version and plugins combination).

I’m more than happy to investigate this issue and resolve it for you ASAP while making sure your WP Admin access isn’t compromised. Please contact me via [support AT freemius DOT com] when you have time.

You should have include l10n.php in i18n.php in case to use those functions.

Any word on this, Vova (or anyone) at Freemius?

    Thanks,

    Hi there,

Thanks for the info, but now how to I stop WordPress from reporting that there’s an update available?

    Cheers,
    Michael

Hi, I had reported a fatal error when I previously attempted to upgrade. That what started this thread. I backed everything up, crossed my fingers and just tried again. It worked this time. Thank you very much. Please consider this topic closed.
