Escape is deprecated error

I have debug on and I’m getting 2 errors and the plugin isn’t working. I’m working on a local server. The first error is in the plugins settings: “Notice: Undefined index: tab in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/PMIDev/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-login-and-registration/woocommerce_login_signup_plugin.php on line 813”

The second is after I try to login with the popup woocommerce form: “Notice: wpdb::escape is deprecated since version 3.6! Use wpdb::prepare() or esc_sql() instead. in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/PMIDev/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3573.”

I’d really like to be able to use this plugin. Thank you.
