• Hi there, thanks for all the hard work on this plugin, it’s a wonderful addition to wordpress and has improved my load speeds significantly.

I’m wondering if there’s a way to ensure that ytlyte videos are automatically wrapped in div tags? If I don’t wrap them in divs, they will escape my post content containers (for dedicated post pages, not on the main page).

I use the WP classic editor for posts, so I can add divs manually, but it adds process steps that I’d prefer to avoid because manually adding them requires me to insert videos using the lyte shortcode. If I just insert a standard URL, lyte won’t recognize it if I’ve manually wrapped it in a div (leaving the raw url in the post). I imagine this is partly just down to my theme, but short of digging into the theme code, I hoped there might be a way to fix this in the ytlye plugin itself.

Any help would be appreciated, and thanks again!

LYTE’s come with their own divs (the main one having class lyte-wrapper), so although I can’t *see* what is wrong without an extra div, I *guess* it could be solved with some custom CSS? if you can create a (hidden) page somewhere without an additional div, I’ll be happy to have a look and try to come up with a solution!

    best,
