    Hey there again,

I have another question regarding my page speed. When I check my page speed with Google, it says that one css file of the plugin Essential Addons for Elementor is unused and sometimes even a render blocking issue. I have contacted the EA support and they said, I should ask you guys here why autoptimize does not optimize this specific css file like all other files?

Can you check it out please?
    Thx – mausan 🙂

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

By default Autoptimize excludes CSS in wp-content/uploads as that can cause the cache size to bloat, but if you want you can remove that exclusion from the list of CSS optimization exclusions? 🙂

    hope this clarifies,
    frank

I will keep the cache size in mind. For now it works. But is it possible to exclude wp-content/uploads and to include this specific css in wp-content/uploads?

    Thx 🙂 mausanel

no, afraid the exclusion list is to exclude specific CSS, not include it (so it’s a blocklist, not an allowlist).

    Thx 🙂 mausanel

you’re welcome, feel free to leave a review of the plugin and support here! 🙂

Hey there again! The ao cache size is so far so good! But I wanted to ask you if excluding wordpress/uploads has any pros/cons besides the higher cache? I just want to make sure that this is a good solution 🙂

Also, the same question but for wordpress/cache. Can I exlude this as well? Are there any pros/cons? I am asking this because this may solve the page speed issue I have and asked in another thread.

    Thx, mausanel

no, apart from cache-size issues there are not disadvantages in removing those from the exclusion list 🙂
