Essential plugin

    I’ve been using Duplicator on all my sites for several months now, and has become an essential plugin to have on all sites.
    This should be packaged with WP the same as Akismet.
    Makes moving a site from development in MAMP to live server a breeze, I also create a ‘Duplicate’ of each site before applying any updates. It allows me to create a duplicate to download and set-up on the Mac, and test any core, plugin or theme updates before applying on a live customers site.

    A few times I have found it fails, this is usually due to large amount of files in the uploads folder, simply choose to skip that folder and clone via FTP solves the problem.
    Would not be without it!
