.eu domain issue

Hi everybody
I wanted to start a hobby blog page recently. I have a domain with .eu ending and I have a server, and I wanted to use WordPress to manage things. However, as I try to add my domain to it, it shows a notification that .eu domains are not possible to add. I’m just starting it, and I have no clue, what is going on. I don’t want to dump a bought domain because of this issue.
I suppose the information I gave is not enough, so feel free to ask me anything. I will be grateful for any help that You provide.
