I’m looking for a membership plugin for a customer who is an association. They need some features that I haven’t found with your free version during the first evaluation. Just in case I have overseen them or if they are only provided in your pro-version, could you please help me to check if your plugin matches the following requirements?

    00. Members should be synced with Users (at least Names & Emails)
    01. Internal member directories (members should visit other members profiles) incl. contact info such as “telephone” and “email”
    02. German language for member profiles and members directories
    03. Registration of new members with Double-Opt-In / confirm emailadress
    04. Registration options for admins (after member has confirmed his email): confirm manually or automatically
    05. Import new members via CSV or at least provide dedicated invitation-URL for new members
    07. Membership Groups (e.g. for Families, Travel-Groups, Project-Groups etc.)
    08. Group invitations – members can invite other members into a group
    09. Hide dashboard from members (except for admins)

Some other requirements are not mandatory features and could be provided by other vendors. However, the more of these features are integrated with your plugin or pro-version, the better:

    10. Manage membership payments incl. VAT
    11. Newsletter / Simple mailing-feature to inform all users about new posts or comments
    12. for members: subscribe to comments of new posts
    13. for visitors: subscribe to comments incl. double-optin (confirm email-address first!)
    14. Reply to new comments by mail
    15. Frontent editing for posts authors & editors
    16. Simple internal statistics – display amount of posts and comments per member

If your plugin will match with at least 00-09 I would be happy to learn, if they will require your Pro version or if your free version is already covering them. The same for 10-16

I’m looking forward to hearing from you 🙂

    Thank you,
    YoungOne

There is no Pro version of this plugin, and the free version will remain free forever.

Restrict User Access itself is very lightweight and it’s main purpose is to give ultimate control over authorization. I’ll try to answer your questions:
    00. Included.
01.02. I recommend using BuddyPress, which the plugin works out of the box with.
03.04. Plugin uses built-in WordPress registration form
    05. Currently not included.
    07. You can add unlimited Access Levels
    08. Currently not included.
    09. Included.
    10. Currently not included, but API supports integration with any payment plugin.
    11. – 16. Currently not included.

Regarding GDPR compliance, it is up to the data controller/processor of a system/website to make sure it’s compliant. Restrict User Access doesn’t centrally store or process any data about the memberships/access levels that are created on sites that use the plugin.

I hope this answered your questions 🙂
