Event bar automatically in every post

    Hello everyone,
    I started using this plugin I think with version 4.3 and over the time I updated to version 4.4.
    In the beginning, in every posting I made with event-information there was automatically the event bar, that you can also get via [event_details]. This was really good.

    Now for some reason in all my events the eventbar ist missing. I can add it manually by putting [event_details] into the post, but I want that it works automatically again.
    Can you tell if something changed, or if I’m to blind to find the correct option?

    Hi,

    The way the plugin uses to decide to display or not event bar has’nt changed between 4.3 and 4.4
    It simply compares post content to prevent event bar to be displayed in a list of post in the sidebar for example. But if œnothera plugin alters the content, it doesn’t work anymore…

    Since 4.5 it compares the Post’s ID, which is pretty much smarter.

    The only problem: I’ve been stucked on other projects for a while. 4.5 is very near to be released but miss some beta test.

    Hello and thank you for your answer.
    I installed the beta-version 4.5 but with the same result. 🙁

    I looked and tried different things and I found out, that the event bar is missing in every event post where I inserted also a “more tag”. I don’t understand why this happens and if it is a bug, or if it should be like this.

    Is it possible to tell the plugin to put the event bar in every event, no matter if it is in the single event posting or as one of many posts in the feed?

    With the new version the event bar is back in single postings. Thank you for that!

    Now I’m still looking for a way that the plugin adds automatically the event bar in all event postings in the post feed on the mainpage.

    Hi,

    if you want to display the event bar in the native post list, you should edit the template directly from the theme and use the_dates() and or the_location()
