EDIT (I wasnt able to use the edit button):
I’ve found an Error at the backend with this information:
You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.
I was searching another API keys in my plugin settings. I’m only using WEB 2.0 Directory, which has an API key.
How can I use both plugins which need API keys? Did I missed any settings? :/

Hello,
I have to push this thread. I’m waiting over 3 weeks to get any answers. I really wasn’t able to solve this JS conflict by myself.
Doesn’t anyone know how to solve this terrible JS conflict? I really need this plugin, because it was the only one where people can register to an event without this payment gateway.
It cannot be the case, that I always have to disable WEB 2.0 Directory, that I can add events with a working map without the hint “Map unavailable” at the frontend.

Sorry for the delay in replying, it looks like this thread got buried.
Which version of Events Manager are you using? Are you able to deactivate the API in the settings of the other and still have both plugins work ok?

I’m glad you found this topic. 😀
I’m using the free version 5.7.3. During this long time I asked our extern programmers how to solve this problem. He want’s to change some code, that google API will work for both plugins, but if you would update the plugin, the code would disappear.
Do you know an easy way how to use both plugins? Our customer needs Events Manager and Web 2.0 Directory. Google Maps isn’t working when Web 2.0 Directory plugin is running. But it has no problems with the event manager from time.ly. It’s using API, too. But it has no conflicts with EM.
I only have working maps, if I disable Web 2.0. After I added some new events, I activate it and the generated maps are still working then.
I just want an easier way, so that our customer don’t have to access to the plugin settings.

Have you contacted the developer of the directory plugin? I think it’s an issue that may come from their code because I’m not yet aware of any other conflicts of this type between Events Manager and other plugins using the Google Maps API.
Alternatively, it might be that your developer can run the code she / he is suggesting via a WordPress filter / hook so that it won’t be affected by plugin upgrades.
Hello,
where or how did you find the solution?
http://bim4infra.de/events/bim4infra2020-workshop-b1-region-ost-auftakt-und-uebersicht/ looks wonderful, but the pages of my client still show
‘Veranstaltungsort nicht gefunden’/ ‘Karte nicht verfügbar’.
Can you help?
Best greetings!
@kleinananas If you’re still having trouble with your maps can you open a new thread for your question so we can help? Thanks.
