Event list order bug

    Hi there, we’ve been using this plugin for a while now and love it, but noticed that there was recently a bug introduced that causes the event lists to display recurring events in the wrong order.

    Here’s an older and newer screenshot for comparison:

    You can see that as recently as version 4.2.9 (released just a few months ago), the recurring events were appearing in the correct order. However, one of the last few updates, a bug was introduced that sometimes causes recurring events to appear in the wrong spot on the list.

    The underlying reason appears to be that the list is now using the recurring events’ “start date” rather than their next available date, even if the start date has already passed.

    Thanks for your message. To quickly fix this issue, I request you to please reinstall the WpEvently plugin. Please go to the plugin list page on your website and deactivate and remove the WpEvenly plugin, then reinstall and activate the WpEvently plugin from the Add New Plugin menu. Don’t worry about your data; everything will be kept safe. I hope the issue will be solved after the process. Please let me know your feedback.

    @devidfri – Uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin successfully fixed the issue on our site.

    It’s been two months since we did that and so far the issue hasn’t reappeared.
