Event List Shortcode Problem

Please help a newbie. I have two events in my calendar (for testing) – one in this month and one in the next month. They both are entered by an admin user and are public. The only difference is one has a physical location and the other does not.
They both show up in the small calendar widget, a full calendar and in the Event Mgr Event List widget.
But, I placed the following in a page and I it only displays the first month and one event. Even when I move the “missing” event into the same month, I don’t see it in this list. The one that does not show up does not have a physical location.
