The event list on the right hand side, I want to have some events not appear on the list, only on the calendar. I tried changing the visibility in
appearance > widgets > event loop > Visibility
and having it on hide if tagged with noshow, but when I tagged my events with this they still show up!
does anyone know how to hide only certain events from the event list but keep them in the calendar?
im using wordpress full calendar for the calendar

Perhaps you can get this done using conditional placeholders to target the events you want to excude:

Thanks Ive never used that before would this be the part i would use?

{has_tag_X}content{/has_tag_X}
event has a tag with a term name, id or slug of value ‘X’. Replace X with whatever tag you are searching for.

What would I do with that then?

you can try something like {has_tag_1}content{/has_tag_1} where 1 is the term or tag id or {has_tag_music}content{/has_tag_music} where music is the tag slug
