Event Registration Security

    I have been getting a lot of spammers/bots registering for events that I have created. Does anyone know how to prevent this? I thought using a Captcha plugin might work but there is not an option to add it to event registration.

    You can use akismet and sequrity question plugins.

    From what I am reading, akismet only protects against spam in comments, not against people registering. Am I wrong?

    Ah yes, you are correct. Like you mentioned in your original post, you’ll need to find a captcha or other addon that will prevent this from happening. I don’t see an alternative.
