Events for Google Analytics

With respect to https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/does-site-kit-send-coversions-to-analytics/ and https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/1728 is there work underway for WooCommerce to fire events that Site Kit can capture and transmit to Google Analytics?
