    A great plugin and really versatile thank you.

    The above page is working fine but if one of the categories in the sidebar is clicked it stubbornly uses the default page template. I would like it to use the same page template as events but if i duplicate it and rename it to taxonomy-event-categories.php no events are found.

    How do i keep the same page layout when a category is selected?

    Update: I’ve got something coming through using wp_query but it lacks the continuity and pagination that would come from the plugin. There must be a way?

    Hello,

    The template for categories can be customized under: Events > Settings > Formatting > Categories > Event Categories. What you’re looking for is probably the “Event List Formats” part of the said settings page.

    Thanks, i’ve gone the shortcode route in the meantime and it works well. One thing though related to placeholders, What is the conditional for ‘if has any events’?

    I can’t see it in the documentation so i tried as a guess

    {has_events}#_CATEGORYCOLOR{/has_events}

    It doesn’t work 🙂

    unfortunately, the conditional placeholder has_events works on the locations for now.
