This sounds like a possible jQuery conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?
Unfortunately deactivating plugins is not an option at the moment
Deactivating and reactivating plugins is likely to take no more than few minutes; it’s the quickest and most accurate way to test for a jQuery conflict which is the cause of this type of problem 95% of the time.
It was just yesterday were it wasnt an option but today is different. Ive deactivated every plugin apart from the event manager and its still the same.

One of your plugins – WP Google Maps (?) – is loading an out-of-date version of the jQuery library. That could be the problem.
You might also want to test with the password protection off, it could be interfering with the loading of files – I keep getting asked for a password, even when logged in.
I´ve deactivated the maps and its still the same, i´ve tried it without the password protection and still no change, tried it on 2 pc´s and both the same.
I´m not sure why you are having to re enter the password for each page as it should give you 24 hour access once logged in, that works fine at my end.
This is so frustrating now!

Have you tested with the default WordPress theme?
Ive just tried it using the 2012 theme and the date picker works fine.
In that case, the problem is your theme.
Most likely this is the issue:
