The events manager import feature from facebook/eventbrite doesn’t utilize the /myeventstring/event-specific-name

    (E.G. mywebsite.com/sports/biggest-event-of-the-year

It makes the url something like this: /?post_type=event&p=52928

Is it possible to make it be the custom like all of the other events added by way of the event manager settings?

    Hello @ericgolftourneygmailcom,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

WP Event Aggregator is just import events into “Events Manager”. You have setup a custom permalink structure in Events Manager. You can achieve that by setup pretty permalinks from WordPress settings and change event base from “Events Manager” settings.

Here is the screenshot for that. maybe it’s more useful to you.

I understand that.. And I set the custom permalink structure for events manager years ago. The issue is that when I import events through your plugin the permalink structure is ignored when an event is referenced via an Events Manager widget. Please review your code to make sure that it initiates all of the processes to align the permalink structure in event links using widgets.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
