Events page template

Hi guys,

I have installed Events Calendar and chose to display the “default Event template” (since none of the other templates show the events i created). I can see the upcoming events, however, i cannot see my menu or my side bar. Also, what is driving crazy is that the main context box which is supposed to include all the events and text is 60px short in width so it looks like some events and text are coming out of the content box onto the background. Can someone help me with this?
