Events-slug issue

Hi,

the slug of my calendar should be /events by default. But it is only “events” (without a slash in front of it). So the generated url is e.g. “http://localhostevents”.
I tried different ways to workaround, because I can’t insert a slash to the url-slug field in calendar-settings.

I tried to change and save the permalinks in wordpress again, reinstalled the plugin and installed an older version, but without any effects.

Do you have a fix for this?
It seems that other users ran into this issue, too.
