Events Spanning 2 Days

Unless I have my eyes closed, i’ve scoured event manager settings trying to find a way to stop events that span 2 days from appearing on the second day.

An example would be a live band playing from 9pm on Friday to 2am early Saturday morning. On Saturday the event still shows up in both event listings and the front page “Upcoming Events” widget.

I’ve set the “Event Spans __ days” to “0” and made sure the widget is set to “Future Events” with no success.

Am I missing something?
