• Whenever I try to add the shortcode [evercompare_button] to any page in my website, the whole css for that website gets distorted and the contents are shifted to the bottom of the page with some parts of content missing and not rendering.

I have been trying to add through Elementor and it previews correctly inside the Elementor Loader but as soon as I hit the Update button, the page is gone.

  • Thank you for contacting us.

Sorry to hear about the inconvenience you had.

With due respect, you can’t add the shortcode to any page you want. Please make sure that you add the shortcode within a product loop.

Otherwise, it won’t work as expected.

    Hope it helps!

Thank you Tarek for answering my question patiently. I understand that I cannot add the shortcode to any page. I am using the plugin Unlimited Elements to create a Widget for my WordPress Custom Product Archive and want to display the compare button only there. How can I make sure that it is a product loop.

    Hi @sanil7

The pleasure is all mine 🙂

A product loop refers to a collection of products displayed that visitors can scroll through.

If the widget that you created using the “Unlimited Elements” plugin is displaying a collection of products, then it should have allowed adding the compare button in the exact same positions available in WooLentor’s module settings.

Since you are interested in using the shortcode:

You have to insert the shortcode through a hook of your widget.

In case there is no hook available in the widget you created, you need to modify the widget.

    Thank you!

I understand, I will try to follow the steps you mentioned, although honestly I only understand a little but that is due to my limited knowledge. Also, I would like to point that shouldn’t the same be the case for [wishlist_button]? But How is it possible that the [wishlist_button] shortcode works but the [evercompare_button] doesn’t?

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply.

Don’t worry. Even if you have limited knowledge of this, we’ll assist you in resolving the issue. Could you please create a ticket on our support website?
