ewww folder (uninstall)

    I installed one year ago this plugin and uninstalled it one year ago. Now i found on my wordpress one folder named ewww in wp-content/ewww with 3 files inside (gifsicle) (optipng) (pngout-static). So my answer is, can i delete this folder with this 3 files inside without break anythink ?
    Why this files remain here if i already disinstalled this plugin 1 year ago?

    You can remove it safely, the plugin didn’t used to cleanup anything. Newer versions remove the ewww folder on deactivation.
