Is there a way to search for only an exact match or at least to make sure all exact matches are found?
For instance if I search for a string containing 2 words, I don’t find all articles containing those 2 words. All the ones I find I edited and removed that string and then later I see articles with those exact 2 words (obviously following each other & I made sure those articles are not excluded from search).
So as an example, if I search for a string: dynamic content or with quotes “dynamic content” I get different results but in both cases I don’t get all articles that have that exact string.
Worth mentioning I am searching for strings in the content, not only in the headings/titles.

Also, why do I get different results when searching the same keyword within or not within quotes?

    Thanks

    Quotes are the phrase operator.

If you search for dynamic content, you’re looking for posts that have those two words. If your default operator is AND, you’ll only get posts that have both words, but if your default operator is OR, you’ll get both that have one or both words.

If you search for "dynamic content", you’re looking for posts that have the exact phrase dynamic content in them. That’s a smaller set of posts.

Is your theme displaying all the search results Relevanssi finds? I’ve seen cases where themes are missing the paging on search results pages, so you only see the first page of results. With large databases and lots of results, Relevanssi might not display everything.

To get the purest results, use the Dashboard > Admin search: it’ll show you all the results Relevanssi finds, with no interference from your theme.

    Hey,

Our pagination is working but the problem is that the results are not what we expect.
Is there any chance we grant you access (it is a blocked site) and you have a look?

    Thanks!

That is unfortunately a service I can only provide for Relevanssi Premium customers.

    Thanks that makes perfect sense.

We have no problem updating to premium. What kind of response time can we expect once we are premium provided it would probably involve hands on digging into our theme settings and possibly code?

We usually respond to support requests within couple of hours, but of course your time zone may affect that.
