Okay, so I messed up and have a small (read: big) problem.

I’ve been running a WP site with Woocommerce and installed a SSL certificate. The SSL was installed correctly according to serveral online checks, but the green lock still didn’t appear left of the url in my browsers. I’ve checked on multiple machines but no succes.

On some advice page i read the changing the website URL standard in the setting/general page from http://example.com to https://example.com will do the trick.

But it doesn’t. Now only the homepage of my site load, but all images etc won’t. All other pages give a 404 error.

Even the admin page (example.com/wp-admin) won’t load, so I can’t undo my error.

Can anybody please tell my where I can change this in the codeing? My php-skill are zero but copy/pasting (https -> http) that I can manage 🙂

I’ve allready tried the https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Changing_The_Site_URL option, but it didn’t work for me.

    Anybody got a suggestion?

    Thanks you 🙂
