I’m trying to progress from LinkView to LinkLibrary and I am very impressed with the variety of layouts that are possible. However, whilst you give links to several screens of examples, I can’t find one that outlines the details of setting up such a Library.

My initial needs are not complex – possibly even generic.

    I have 3 key categories:

    1. A list of UK Counties
    2. A list of Planning Authorities (LPA)
    3. A short list of functional types

All told I have around 300 links which I would like to assign to 1 or more of the 3 categories.

As the very basic I would just like to display a screen that enables the user to see Links to each County, click that and see the list of the targeted functional type. Similarly, via the LPA.

Ideally, it would also be useful to have a Search facility for those that know exactly what they are looking for.

I bought your book in the hope that I would find a solution but it is rather more about writing plugins which is something I aspire too but when I have more time.

    Regards

PS I sent a modest donation via Paypal which I intended to make to support LinkLibrary but I have a feeling that it was misdirected. It was Unique Transaction ID 7AJ36621K1007074E – has it arrived?

I received a donation from save our waterways in the UK yesterday. Was that from you? The transaction ID does not match what you indicated here, but I can see you are wearing a Save our waterways cap.

I will get back to your question shortly.

Going back through older questions, I realized that I never got back to you on your question. Sorry about that.

Are you still interesting in migrating your links to Link Library? Let me know and I will investigate your question further to see how the plugin could be used for your needs.
