Exceeded maximum number for authentication attempts.

Hi, where can I find setting about (maximum number for authentication attempts).
I tried to login with wrong password multiple times to see if wordpress blocks me or not
, but is there any timer or a way to unblock user if needed?
and how can I find out user is blocked or not?

pls tell me where can I find changlogs about user registration plugin?
