thobbes, It is appropriate to ask for a link in a support thread where a problem has been reported as this is necessary for troubleshooting, however it is not appropriate to request a site link on a review. A review is about the plugin, not the user’s site.

The reviews section has attracted spam in the past where people leave reviews, often for plugins they are not even using, just so they can post as many links back to their site as possible. This undermines the point of reviews and as a result of that links to user sites in reviews are not permitted. If any exceptions were allowed, this could cause unnecessary dialogue on the forums where people would use exceptions as an example to try to justify including their own links.
i am agree with you. Do you know a simple possibility to detect organized ratings for wordpress plugins. And have ww.wp.xz.cn a whistleblower system or a easy form?
