Excellent Plugin, Excellent Support!

I’ve been using Toolset (paid) for about 4 years now. It truly is an amazing set of plugins! The sky really is the limit for what you can build with it!

As with EVERY CCK there is a learning curve, but Toolset is fairly straightforward. Once you figure out how things work, you will be creating complex functionality with ease. Try Seblod for Joomla if you want to see a CCK that is crazy difficult to learn!

Some people have complained about performance, but I suspect their problems stem more from their overly complex templates, numerous other plugins and lousy $4/mo hosting rather than from Toolset. I build everything custom with a very simple Bootstrap or Foundation starter theme. I usually load only Types and Views (other parts of Toolset only if needed) and avoid additional plugins whenever possible and I regularly get 1.5-2.0s page load times. Can’t complain about that!

I’ve built brand-new sites from the ground up as well as added Toolset to existing sites to quickly and easily add custom post types. Works fine for both.

The support is fantastic. Most of my questions are already answered, but when I do post a question, support is quick and clear and available in many languages.

If you regularly build sites with custom post types, I highly recommend purchasing Toolset.
