  • Hi Neomantis,

    This is usually caused by a JavaScript error from another plugin or your theme, which is cascading down and preventing the booking event from firing.

    Try deactivating other plugins and switching to a default theme, like TwentyFifteen, to see if that fixes it. If it does, then you can re-enable them one-by-one until you find the offending plugin/theme.

    Hello Nate,

    Thanks for much for your answer. I tried disabling EVERY single plugin and no luck. After words i activated the TwentyFifteen theme and the function worked.

    So what do I take from all this? That the Theme has some Java running in the admin panel that over writes your function?

    Its very strange that, that is the case since the Theme (NUVO – Restaurant, Cafe & Bistro WordPress Theme) that i bought specifically uses your plug in and states that it should work?

    Any suggestions on how to fix this? My client is very amendment about having this function work.

    Thanks a bunch!

    Hi Neomantis,

    I’ve had a lot of reports from people who have had problems with the NUVO theme. Are you using their latest version? It looks like they’ve recently put out several fixes specifically for compatibility with this plugin.

    ------------ [ March-18-2015 ] ------------
    #! Version 3.1
    Fixed sticky for custom header.
    Clean up, Optimal speed.
    ------------ [ March-03-2015 ] ------------
    #! Version 3.0
    New Booking Form Calendar.
    Fixed Booking Schedule.
    Fixed Booking Exceptions.
    Fixed Booking Time Interval.
    Fixed WooCommerce Quantity Button.

    If you’re using the latest version of the theme, the issue is probably that there is some JavaScript errors that are produced by unrelated code that is nevertheless getting enqueued on the Bookings Settings page.

    You should bring this to their attention. Until there is a fix for this, you’ll probably need to switch to a default theme to create the exceptions. Once created, they should continue to work fine after you switch back to the NUVO theme, as they’ll be stored in the database.
