I’m using X Poster free version.

Is there a way to add excerpt text into X post?

Eg: #excerpt#

Yes; you can use #post#.

I used #post# previously but it didn’t catch text correctly, it cuts text.

You can set how long the excerpt is allowed to be in the Advanced Settings: “Post excerpt length in characters”.
