Excerpt Length can't be controlled

    I have no code in the functions file to customize excerpts, and no other plugins related to posts, excerpts, etc. so there’s something else happening. No matter what number I put in the Excerpt Length, it remains the same.

    I tried deleting the plugin and re-installing it, but apparently the database tables remain so I can’t change the excerpt length no matter what I try.

    I got it to work!

    Weirdest thing, the excerpt length works if I use a smaller number, around 20 instead of 80. Once I go above that, it ignores it.

    Anyway, works for me, I can live with the shorter excerpts, no worries.
