Excerpt Limitation Not Working

    We are using the plugin to show categories of specific blog posts. In the plugin settings, we choose to show the “Excerpt” and to only show the first 15 words of the excerpt. Unfortunately, this setting does not seem to control how much of the excerpt is actually shown because it displays the entire contents of the excerpt meta field for the post.

    Is this setting supposed to be able to limit how much of the excerpt is displayed? We do not use the “Read More” functionality in any of our posts.

    Hi there,

    looks like you’re using a Custom Excerpt for your posts.
    The excerpt length only affects auto excerpts.
