Excerpt missing first letter in

    I’ve got an issue with the excerpt missing the first letter on the excerpt on this site http://bit.ly/aPQ7Nw+ (bottom of the page)

    I have the same theme running on V2.9.2 and the letter isn’t missing :s

    I have this theme working on a few sites too and the same problem exists on all 3.0.1 installs and fine on older versions.

    Can anyone help? 🙂

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    If I switch to a different theme the excerpt is ok, but as I said this theme works ok in the previous version of wordpress, I’ve no idea what could cause it to lose the first letter though 🙁

    It may be using a custom post excerpt function that simply doesn’t work correctly in the current version.
