Excerpt Not Displaying

    I am using the following shortcode on my website in a popup modal:

    [user_favorites user_id="" include_links="true" site_id="" include_buttons="true" post_types="post" include_thumbnails="true" thumbnail_size="thumbnail" include_excerpt="true"]

    The thumbnail, link, buttons and title all appear, but not the excerpt. I can’t understand why this is not showing – all my posts have excerpts.

    Any suggestions welcomed.
