Excerpt not displaying with shortcode

    Hi,
    I am using v3.7 and cannot get the excerpt to appear using the shortcode. I have added all code pertaining to the excerpt from your FAQ page and still nothing. It works fine with the widget, but I cannot get it to work where i need it, in the template. Please advise.

    Hi strivejames,

    By default, the shortcode does not include the summary tag which is why you can’t see it even after enabling it (I should probably update the documentation). Add this parameter to your shortcode, you might need to adjust it to suit your needs: post_html='<li>{thumb} {title} <p>{summary}</p> {stats}</li>'.
