excerpts from another wordpress site

    I have a small online magazine. I made a wordpress blog for each of my writers and have been using a static front page built in dreamweaver. I will manually post an excerpt on this page with a small picture and a link back to the blog when one of the writers writes something.

    I want to convert this front page to another wordpress site and I’m looking for a plugin that will post an excerpt from another site, something similar to what happens with facebook when you post a link.

    All I seem to be able to find are excerpt plugins for the same site. anyone know of this type of plugin?

    OK I’m looking for something where I can put the URL of a post and it will show as an excerpt. I hope this explains it better.
